I can't believe how fast the summer has flown and I can't believe how long it's been since I last posted! For those faithful readers out there I apologize for my lack of blogging. We haven't had a crazy summer really. Except for the fact that I quit my job in the middle of July. That is part of the reason for my lack of blogging...no computer:( It's a long story and I have been a house wife every since. I have a job possibility that I am waiting patiently to find out about.
Back to the summer events....
We spent the 4th of July in Granbury, TX with the Duty's. We have done that for the past 4 years. Jay's parents (the most amazing host ever) have a lot of traditions for the holiday and the one that is our favorite are the home made egg rolls. So Yummy! We roll them ourselves and then they get fried. They are so delicious and I am sure so nutritious.

Here come the Fireworks....
We were amazed at the fireworks show.
Two days after the 4th was my 28th birthday. We had a little birthday dinner at one of my most favorite Dallas restaurants, Celebration. Yum yum yum! The Wilson's supplied a delicious cake from Everything Bunt Cake. It was a wonderful birthday and I am so thankful for such good friends.
It's been a great summer and I hope yours has been too.
